As your San Diego boudoir photographer, I’m here to make every single detail easy, exciting, and fun. That starts with my 20 page prep guide, questionnaire, and even a one-on-one Zoom call before your session where we’ll chat all about your style, your vision, and what to expect. I’ll even create a custom packing list just for you, so you’ll know exactly what to bring — and nothing you don’t need.
Here’s everything you should bring to your San Diego boudoir session, and everything you can leave at home:
What to Bring to Your Boudoir Session
1. Your Favorite Music
This is your day, so you get to be DJ! Bring your go-to playlist, whether it’s full of R&B, pop girl anthems, chill acoustic, or throwback hits. We’ll blast your favorite songs in the studio (just don’t make fun of my dance moves!).
2. A Few Favorite Outfits or Accessories
Don’t stress about bringing a ton of outfits! We’ll plan your wardrobe together on our Zoom call, and I’ll guide you through the best options for your style and vision. Boudoir doesn’t have to be just lingerie: rhink cozy sweaters, oversized button-ups, silky robes, or a piece of jewelry that makes you feel powerful. You’ll also have access to my curated client wardrobe at the studio if you want to mix things up!
3. Comfy Clothes for Before and After
You’ll arrive fresh-faced and leave glowing, so wear something cozy for your drive to the studio and after the shoot. Think leggings, joggers, or a soft, oversized hoodie.
4. Clean, Moisturized Skin
Come with a clean face and dry hair and a member from my pro hair and makeup team will take it from there. Lightly moisturize your face and body, drink lots of water, and avoid new products or self-tanner in the days leading up to your session. Your natural glow is all we need!
5. Anything Personal You Want to Include
A partner’s shirt. Your favorite necklace. A meaningful tattoo. This is your story, and if there’s something you’d like to incorporate, bring it along! Even the smallest detail can make your photos feel more personal and powerful.

What to Leave at Home
1. A Giant Suitcase of “Just in Case” Options
I promise—you don’t need 12 lingerie sets. Bringing too much can actually add decision fatigue to your day. We’ll plan everything in advance on our Zoom call, and I’ll send you a personalized packing list. Stick to your favorites, and you can leave the rest at home.
2. Last-Minute Beauty Experiments
Avoid trying anything new right before your session — no self-tanner, no peels, no random TikTok skin hacks. Your skin knows what it likes. Stick with it!
3. Perfectionism or Pressure
This session is about celebrating the real you. Not who you think you have to be. Not who you were five years ago. You don’t need to lose weight, hide your stretch marks, or “fix” a thing. You are worthy of being seen and celebrated, exactly as you are. Because you exist. 🙂
Nerves are normal, but once we turn the music up and you get to unleash the supermodel within you (I promise, she’s there!), you might be surprised by how much fun your photoshoot day will be!
