We offer a top-rated boudoir experience complete with one-on-one planning and styling, professional hair & makeup, by-hand retouching, luxury albums and prints, and a variety of looks for your boudoir session in our private downtown San Diego studio. When you book with me, you work with an internationally award-winning boudoir photographer (me!) and my team to get a one-of-a-kind photoshoot experience you will cherish for the rest of your life. SOS. I'm not a model. how will i know what to do or how to pose?
I got you! It’s my job to help you look and feel your best. I totally understand how it feels to look in the mirror and critique every little thing we see - I’ve been there. But I also know how to photograph you so you look like you belong on the cover of Vogue. I’ve photographed hundreds of women, and am an expert at posing and lighting, and will be here to help guide you every step of the way Professional hair and makeup artistry from a member of my amazing glam squad is also included with your session. I can’t wait to show you how amazing you will look and feel!
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO WEAR OR BRING?
That’s what I’m here for! Most of my clients haven’t had a photoshoot like this before, and that’s one of my favorite things. I’ll be by your side throughout the entire experience, including a planning meeting, styling help, prep guide, packing list, and being ready on speed dial with any questions. I even have a studio wardrobe with versatile pieces we can use!
how much should i budget for this?
A $590 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date. A la carte images are $175, printed products start at $350, and framed or metal wall art starts at $500. Collections start at $2250. Each client has different order wants, from acrylic display prints to custom handmade albums. What you choose to spend is 100% up to you!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! We offer in-house, interest-free prepayment plans towards any collection, with an added bonus of a 10% savings. It’s a great way to help plan and save leading up to your photoshoot!
will you share my photos online?
Only with your permission! I understand that boudoir photos can be private, so you will be able to decide exactly what you would like shared and what you would like to keep just for yourself. You can share nothing at all, show off all your stunning photos, or just a few. Your privacy and comfort is extremely important to me. You will always have full control.
I need my photos by a certain date. how far in advance should i book?
I recommend booking your photoshoot day for at least 8-10 weeks before you would like your finished album or prints so there is enough time for editing, design, printing, customizations, shipping, and delivery. Just let me know if you need help choosing a date!
can i BRING MY SPOUSE/PET/KID/FRIEND?
I specialize in individual empowerment sessions for women, and only offer photoshoots with one subject (you!). You are always welcome to bring a friend if you would feel more comfortable, but please leave any animals and children under 18 at home.
I HEARD YOU HAVE A STUDIO CAT! IS THAT TRUE?
Yes! The studio is located in a live/work loft, and Theo (the very friendly studio cat) can make an appearance if you would like to say hello. If you are allergic or simply not a cat fan, he can hang in his room upstairs and we can make sure to have the air filters on full blast to reduce any potential dander. The studio is always cleaned before and after every client.
WHEN AND WHERE DO PHOTOSHOOTS TAKE PLACE?
We offer Tuesday and Thursday dates starting at 10:00 am at our downtown San Diego boudoir studio. Your day typically lasts until 4:00 p.m. (6 hours in total), including hair and makeup, your two hour photoshoot, and your same-day reveal and selection appointment. We only book one client per day, so you get a full day just for you!
