If you’re considering a boudoir session but feel nervous about privacy, I get it. Boudoir is deeply personal. It’s vulnerable. And it’s something you’re doing for you, not the internet.
As a San Diego boudoir photographer, one of the most important values in my studio is respecting your boundaries and protecting your privacy. Here’s exactly how that works.
I will never share your photos without your explicit written permission
Let’s start here:
Every single image you see on my website, blog, or Instagram feed has been shared with full written consent by the person in it. That consent comes in the form of a signed release, and you are always in control of what, if anything, is shared.
You can choose to sign an anonymous release (for example, allowing images that don’t show your face), give permission for just a few select photos, or opt to keep your entire session 100% private.
You don’t need to be comfortable sharing your photos to enjoy this experience. It’s still just as powerful, beautiful, and meaningful even if the images are just for you.
Your photoshoot day can be kept completely private, too
Some clients are excited to take behind-the-scenes videos or selfies during their session, and others want total privacy. Either way, I’ve got you.
If you’d prefer to keep your experience entirely off social media, I won’t post or record anything that shows your face, body, voice, or even your name unless you’ve given me clear permission to do so. That includes Instagram stories, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes content.
This day is yours. I want you to feel totally safe to relax, be present, and fully enjoy every moment.
You don’t have to decide right away
At your viewing appointment, once you’ve seen your final images, I’ll ask if you’d like to give permission for any to be shared. You can say yes, no, or only under specific conditions.
There’s zero pressure. No expectations. Just your comfort, always.
Privacy and empowerment go hand in hand
Part of what makes boudoir so powerful is that it’s just for you. Whether you gift the images to a partner or keep them to yourself, this experience is about reconnecting with your body, your confidence, and your sense of self.
You deserve to feel celebrated — and safe — every step of the way.
